We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Invasive Cardiology Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Alpena, Michigan. This role offers a mix of clinic, hospital rounding, procedures, and call coverage in a supportive, team-based environment.
Compensation: $2800 Per Day
Position Details:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts, plus call
- Call Schedule: 1:2 call expectation
- Practice Setting: Outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital coverage
- Duties:
- New and established patient visits
- Inpatient rounding
- Imaging and testing interpretation
- Procedures based on experience,
including:
- Diagnostic caths (optional, not required)
- Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
- Cardioversions
- Loop implant/explant
- EMR: EPIC with Dragon dictation
- Daily Workflow: Balanced mix of clinic, rounding, and procedural time
Requirements:
- Active Michigan medical license
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
- ACLS and BLS certifications
- Diagnostic catheter skills preferred but not required
