Position Overview
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible General Cardiologist to join our team in a dynamic hospital-based and outpatient setting. The successful candidate will support a large outpatient clinic during standard business hours and provide inpatient hospital cardiology service, including consults, rounding, and scheduled procedures. On-call coverage will be required weekdays evenings and overnight, as well as 24-hour weekends and holidays, with defined response time expectations.
Job Responsibilities
Provide outpatient cardiology services at our HVC office Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, seeing new and return patients, managing diagnostic testing, and coordinating care.
Provide hospital‐based cardiology service: rounding on inpatients, performing and interpreting consults, managing consults and admissions, and performing scheduled procedures.
Respond to on-call duties:
Weekday evenings/nights (5:00 PM – 7:00 AM Monday–Friday): must respond to phone calls within 5-10 minutes and be in-house in person within 30 minutes when required.
Qualifications
MD or DO degree and completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease.
Board certified or board eligible in Cardiology.
