Position Summary

The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its expanding cardiology department in New Haven, CT .

This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide advanced cardiac electrophysiology care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, device implantation, and arrhythmia management, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.

  • Perform electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices).

  • Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultations.

  • Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.

  • Participate in EP lab procedures, post-operative care, and long-term device follow-up.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).

  • Contribute to departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuing education.

Qualifications

Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Training: Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Experience: Prior EP experience preferred; newly trained electrophysiologists are welcome to apply.
