Position Summary
The facility is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiac Electrophysiologist to join its expanding cardiology department in New Haven, CT .
This full-time, permanent position offers an exciting opportunity to provide advanced cardiac electrophysiology care in a supportive, patient-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have expertise in performing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, device implantation, and arrhythmia management, while collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary cardiac team.

Essential Position Responsibilities
Evaluate and manage patients with complex cardiac arrhythmias and rhythm disorders.
Perform electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implantations (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices).
Provide inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology consultations.
Collaborate with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, and advanced practice providers to deliver comprehensive cardiac care.
Participate in EP lab procedures, post-operative care, and long-term device follow-up.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR).
Contribute to departmental initiatives, quality improvement programs, and continuing education.
Qualifications
Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
Licensure & Certification:
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology; eligible for Connecticut medical licensure.
Training:
Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in Cardiac Electrophysiology.
Experience:
Prior EP experience preferred; newly trained electrophysiologists are welcome to apply.
