Position Summary

We are seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible General Cardiologist to join our outpatient cardiology team in Daytona Beach, Florida .

The Cardiologist will provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and management of cardiovascular conditions in an outpatient setting, with a focus on quality outcomes and an excellent patient experience.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Provide outpatient cardiovascular consultations, diagnosis, and management of cardiac conditions.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and nurses.

  • Participate in the development of care pathways and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Oversee and mentor advanced practice practitioners (PA/ARNP/DNP) as part of a team-based model.

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR).

  • Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to department quality goals.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) from an accredited institution.

  • Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology.

  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of clinical practice preferred; new graduates are encouraged to apply.

  • Licensure: Active Florida medical license or eligibility to obtain one.

  • Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

  • Experience or interest in value-based care models.

  • Proficiency in electronic health records;

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
