- Start Date: As soon as credentialed
- Assignment Length: On-Going (Must have availability to commit to a minimum of 2 weeks/month)
- Shift Details: 8 Hour Monday -Friday, with Call requirements | 24hr weekend call: Friday @3pm - Monday @7am
- Worksite Setting: Outpatient Clinic
- EMR System: EPIC/Dragon
- Average Time to Credential: 30 days
- Travel Reimbursement: Yes provides travel
- Licenses/Certifications: Will consider IMLC
- Case Logs:
- 50 Cases in last 12 months
Job Responsibilities
- Diagnostic cath, TEE, Cardioversions Loop implant/explant
- Can do diagnostic catheter work if preferred, but not required
- 1 APPs (Off on maternity leave starting in Oct 2025)
- Will not be supervising
- Outpatient – See 50-70 patients per day between 2 or 3 providers
- Inpatient – busy service, but manageable for one physician
- Bread and butter reads
- Some weeknight call and some weekend call – volume isn’t overly burdensome
- Usually do full days in outpatient or full days in the hospital and have some time set aside for reading
- Echos and stress tests are done in the hospital
- Clinic is near the hospital
- TEE and cardioversions preferred – Diagnostic Cath isn’t required, but available
- Can not do interventional work in addition to general
- There will be two other general/invasive physicians and 1 APP
Qualifications
- ACLS,BLS
- BC/BE
- Proctoring may be required depending on what type of procedures and reads being performed
