Medical Director - Heart Failure Program opening in Charlotte, NC
Located in Charlotte, NC

Overview:
* Due to system growth and expansion, we are recruiting for a Medical Director, Advanced Heart Failure for our Charlotte region
* The Medical Director of Heart Failure will split his or her time between clinical practice and administration
* The Medical Director will lead the organization in heart failure outcomes initiatives
* S/he will contribute to the continued growth and development of our heart failure program, including establishing a destination left ventricular assist device (LVAD) center at Medical Center as well as outreach and clinical support at our six surrounding hospitals and 11 ambulatory sites within the Charlotte area
* Clinical consultative cardiology
* Proficiency in the management of the entire spectrum of heart failure
* Fellowship training in heart failure including mechanical circulatory support and recent exposure to contemporary management of the heart failure patient through all care transitions is preferred
* System-wide EHR-Epic
