Job description
We are hiring a Board-Certified Cardiologist to provide locum coverage at a Michigan facility. This role includes inpatient rounding and call, supported by a dedicated APP team.

Compensation:
-
Orientation/Training: ½ normal rate
-
24-hour on-call: $2500/ W2 or $3000/ 1099 8 hours gratis (Fridays)

Weekend 24-hour call: $2500/ W2 or $3000/ 1099 4 hours gratis
-
Hourly call back: $220/ W2 or $250/ 1099

Holiday 24-hour: 1.5x rate

Holiday call back: 1.5x rate
Job Details:

Setting: Inpatient – hospital and call (no clinic)

Schedule: 24-hour call (6 AM – 6 AM)

Support: 3 inpatient APPs assisting the cardiologist

EHR: Cerner
Required Skills/Procedures:

Echocardiography
-
Treadmill stress tests
-
Chemical stress tests
-
Interpretation of diagnostic studies
Requirements:
-
Board Certified in Cardiology

Active Michigan medical license
-
Must reside in Michigan or nearby

Clean background for credentialing – Required, no exceptions
