Locums | Cardiology | Clinic + Call | Missoula, MT (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Ongoing need until permanent providers are hired
  • Flexible weekly scheduling with mix of clinic and call
  • Light call burden, mostly phone-based, with minimal call-ins
Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: Clinic + Call Schedule: Weekly blocks, Monday 8a–Monday 7a; preference for 7-day stretches Patients per Shift: 9–12 clinic patients plus echo reading Beds in Department: 29 Setting: Inpatient & outpatient EMR: Epic Support: RNs, MAs, APPs, office staff Trauma Level: II Admissions: No Requirements Board Certified Active MT license or IMLC ACLS Clean malpractice and background Clinical Details Inpatient & outpatient cardiology ICU consults Echo reading (clinic days: 10; call weekends: ~8/day; dedicated echo days: ~25/day) Call: - Weeknights 5p–7a: triaged by hospitalists, minimal urgent echos - Weekends: 24-hour call, primarily phone with echo reads, inpatient rounds, consults, referral line Non-invasive preferred: Echocardiography, TEE, nuclear cardiology No invasive/interventional or EP procedures required Must supervise APPs Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
