We are currently seeking 1–3 board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologists to provide locum tenens coverage at our facility while we recruit permanent providers. This opportunity offers a flexible rotating schedule and a well-supported clinical environment in a Level II Trauma Center.
📅 Schedule: Ongoing locum coverage; providers scheduled Monday 8:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (7-day blocks)
🩺 Practice Setting: Inpatient & Outpatient
🔹 Assignment Details:
Duration: Ongoing until permanent hires are in place
Preferred Commitment: 7-day blocks (Clinic + Call), ending with weekend call
Call Schedule:
Weekends are 24-hour call
Call is mostly phone-based – very rare in-person call-ins
Weekday call based on facility staffing needs
Clinic & Hospital-based Work: Assigned based on greatest need during the week
Support Staff: Yes
Patient Volume: 9–12 patients per shift
Trauma Level: II
Beds in Department: 29
EMR: Epic

Outpatient Cardiology
Inpatient Cardiology
ICU Management Experience
🔹 Additional Details:
Providers Requested: 3 locum cardiologists for shared coverage of 3 weeks/month
Travel & lodging covered
Malpractice insurance provided
