• Job Title: Physician – Cardiologist (General Cardiology)
• Job Type: Locum Tenens
• Location: Flagstaff, AZ
• Service Setting: Outpatient Clinic within Acute Care Hospital
• Coverage Type: Clinical Only (No Call)
• Coverage Period: 09/15/2025 – 6 months (ASAP start considered)
• Clinical Shift Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00a – 5:00p (1-hour lunch)
• On-Call Shift Schedule: None

COVERAGE DATES
• Start Date: September 15, 2025 (ASAP start available)
• Duration: 6 months
• Full-time or minimum 3 weeks per month

PATIENT INFORMATION
• Patient Demographics: Adults, primarily age 60+
• Patient Volume: 16–20 patients/day
• Admissions: No (clinic only)
• Rounding: Not applicable
• Case Mix: General Cardiology, outpatient care only

• Support Staff Available: 2 Physicians in group, nursing and administrative staff

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• Outpatient cardiology consults and follow-ups
• Non-invasive general cardiology evaluations and management

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Arizona medical license required (IMLC accepted)
• Board: Board Certification in General Cardiology preferred
• DEA: Required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS required
• Experience: Minimum 2 years in cardiology practice
• Charting: Experience with Cerner EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide outpatient general cardiology coverage in the clinic setting
• Evaluate and manage adult cardiology patients (primarily age 60+)
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure continuity of care
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered cardiology services
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Cerner EMR
