Practice Setting:
Hospital (Clinic Coverage Only – No Hospital Rounding)
📅 Assignment Details
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: 6 Months
Schedule Options:
• Full-time (M–F)
• Or 2-3 weeks per month
Shift Details:
• Monday to Friday
• 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)
🏥 Work Environment
Coverage Type: Outpatient clinic only
Support Staff: 2 other cardiologists in group
Patient Volume: 16–20 patients/day
Patient Population: Adults aged 60+
EMR: Cerner
Interview Process: Microsoft Teams virtual interview
🩺 Clinical Requirements
Skills Required:
• General Cardiology
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills with patients and staff
Board Certification: Preferred in General Cardiology
Licensure:
• Active AZ License or IMLC accepted
Certifications:
• BLS
• ACLS
Experience: Minimum of 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: ~30 days
