7 On / 7 Off Schedule
Rockford, IL
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join a thriving, hospital-employed cardiology program in a robust regional referral network. This is a newly expanded position designed to support inpatient cardiology needs with a seven-on/seven-off schedule for optimal work-life balance.
Position Highlights:
* Inpatient-focused Cardiology Hospitalist role
* Work alongside a collaborative team of 10 cardiologists (including interventional, non-interventional, and electrophysiologists)
* Supported by a team of experienced Advanced Practice Providers
* State-of-the-art Heart Hospital with on-site diagnostics, cath lab, surgical suites, and advanced cardiovascular imaging
* Perform or interpret advanced procedures including:
* Watchman
* CardioMEMS
* ASD/PFO Closure
* TAVR
* Cardiac MRI and CT
* Involvement in cardiac diagnostic interpretation
* Established patient base spanning a 12-county referral region serving 750,000 people

Qualifications:
* MD or DO
* Board Certified/Board Eligible in Cardiology
* Eligible for Illinois medical license and DEA
* Board certification required within 5 years of residency/fellowship completion
Compensation & Benefits:
* Guaranteed salary: \$600,000
* wRVU production model with additional incentive potential
