Job Description
We are seeking a Cardiologist to provide hospital coverage, including inpatient rounding, consults, and imaging interpretation. This position includes a mix of in-house hospital duties and off-site call coverage.
Position Highlights:
- Inpatient rounding, consults, image interpretation, TEEs, occasional cardioversions, and proctoring stress tests
- EMR: Epic and Cerner Powerchart
- Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM clinic, followed by 5 PM–8 AM weeknight call
- 24-hour call Saturday–Sunday (8 AM–8 AM)
- 1–2 weeks/month for clinic & call or 24-hour weekend call
- In-house/telephone, 30-minute response time
- Collaboration with support staff, including a PA-C available most mornings
- 3–10 patients per day, 5–6 new consults daily
Requirements:
- Board Certified in Cardiology
- Active Pennsylvania State Medical License or IMLC in hand
- DEA Certification
- ACLS & BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
