Job Title: Physician - Cardiology

Join a well-established cardiology program in Western Nebraska! We are expanding our team to include a full-time, fellowship-trained non-invasive or invasive cardiologist, board certified in internal medicine and board eligible/certified in cardiovascular disease. Our practice prioritizes patient care, excellence, and integrity, ensuring you can help make extraordinary care possible.

Job Responsibilities:

• Work alongside two primary cardiologists with a robust team for call support and complex cardiac procedures.
• Collaborate with a diverse collective team of cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and general cardiologists.
• Utilize the unique partnership between our cardiology team and regional medical center to provide patients with a range of heart care options.
• Stay on the cutting edge of medicine by offering innovative, evidence-based technologies and procedures.
• Participate in the latest clinical trials to deliver cutting-edge care to patients.
• Embrace a multi-disciplinary approach to ensure high-quality care for every patient.
• Not accepting Locums or Visa candidates.
• Open to fellows who will graduate in 2024.

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine - Required
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease - Required
• Active Nebraska medical license or in the process of obtaining - Required
• Completed fellowship prior to start - Required
• Clean malpractice history - Preferred
• Most recent NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) - Required
• DEA must be obtained prior to start - Required
• Permanent Placement Fee of $25K - Required

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine
• Board Eligibility or Certification in Cardiovascular Disease
• Valid Nebraska medical license
• Completion of a fellowship prior to start
• DEA registration prior to start
