Novant Health Cardiothoracic Surgeons is seeking an additional surgeon to join our well-established cardiac surgery group. Our cardiothoracic surgery group of four physicians is ranked among the highest in the nation with a 3-star rating from the Society for Thoracic Surgeons. We perform more than 1,200 cardiovascular and thoracic surgical procedures annually, 85% are heart cases.

NH HVI is seeking a BC/BE Cardiac Surgeon to join in 2024. In addition to skills in minimally invasive and endovascular techniques, experience, or interest in LVAD is essential. The compensation and benefits package is competitive with an initial income guarantee, followed by an opportunity to earn a significant incentive payment. Our physicians are employed by the Novant Health Network, a group of over 1,900 physicians and advanced practice providers in more than 800 locations in North Carolina and South Carolina. Our practice is affiliated with Forsyth Medical Center, an 859-bed hospital and we are part of Novant Health, Inc., a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system.

Qualifications

Education:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of medicine required
  • Completion of an accredited residency program required
  • For specialty physicians - completion of an accredited fellowship program specific to medical specialty

Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Current MD license in appropriate state
  • Board certification or eligibility
  • Current DEA license required
