**Nuclear Cardiologist Opening in Kansas City, MO**_x000D_

- Advanced training in Nuclear Cardiology including PET required_x000D_
- The candidate will be joining six nuclear cardiologists_x000D_
- Leadership opportunities available_x000D_
- Nuclear Cardiology is part of the Cardiovascular Radiologic Imaging Department which is part of the Cardiology Service Line and also includes Cardiovascular CT and Cardiac MRI_x000D_
- The department has 4 nuclear cardiology laboratories located in each of the system hospitals across the KC metro area_x000D_
- Each site has PET-CT and SPECT capabilities, including digital PET_x000D_
- Approximately 8,000 nuclear studies are performed annually, with the majority being PET studies_x000D_
- The applicant would be expected to have an interest in, and be actively involved in, clinical research_x000D_
- The applicant can request a percentage of time be dedicated to clinical research through our unique Clinical Scholars Program_x000D_
- While expertise in additional cardiac imaging modalities is not a prerequisite, accommodations will be made according to the applicants training, expertise and interests_x000D_
