Job Description:

Clinical Cardiology: see new patient consultations and follow-up visits in office; supervise stress testing; read and interpret stress tests, MUGA, nuclear stress tests, echo, peripheral vascular ultrasounds, pacemaker reports; loop recorder reports, mobile cardiac telemetry reports; round in multiple hospitals for new patient consultation, follow-up visits, ED consultations, perform testing in-house, read tests as part of reading panels; provide coverage for other physicians in the practice.

Weeknight call is every other week with 1st call always taken by a PA. Weekend call is every third weekend. RARE (1 every couple months on avg.)


Must speak Spanish.

The successful candidate will perform the above duties and document appropriately. They will spend part of the day rounding at three local hospitals and the rest of the day seeing patients in the office and supervising stress testing. The new Cardiologist will work on developing a presence in the three local hospitals, getting onto call schedules and reading panels. All new patients they see while rounding will be assigned to them in clinic.

Salary: $250,000k + Bonuses

Bonuses: 50% of collections (more info during interview)

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
MD or DO; successful completion of accredited Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases; Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases; if Eligible but not Certified, will need to certify within 12 months from hire or will be terminated for cause
