Electrophysiology Opportunity in Lufkin, Texas

We are recruiting a well-trained Electrophysiologist to join our practice who can perform complex ablations and implant Watchman device, in addition to general electrophysiological procedures and device implantation.

The ideal candidate will be joining our group of 12 physicians that includes 2 Non-Invasive, 8 Interventional Cardiologist and 2 Electrophysiologists with over 36 board certifications in multiple specialties.

The Heart Institute of East Texas is located in beautiful Lufkin, Texas. The HIET has been the leading practice in Deep East Texas since 1982 and continues to bring state-of-the-art technology and services to the region. HIET Cardiologist served as ACC Champions to collaborate with CHI St. Luke’s Health- Memorial Lufkin to become designated as a HeartCARE Center National Distinction of Excellence by the American College of Cardiology for 2018, 2019, 2020 & 2021.They were the first hospital in the CHI system to achieve this distinction and were one of the first 10 hospitals in the nation (2nd in the state of Texas and 9th in the Nation).

The Heart Institute of East Texas received a TMF Physician Practice Quality Improvement Gold Award for improving patient outcomes in high-priority clinical areas while applying innovative strategies to advance quality health care.
