Cardiology Opportunity - Bluffton, IN

Lutheran Health Physicians, in Bluffton, Indiana, is seeking a full-time Non-Invasive, Non-Interventional Cardiologist for outpatient and inpatient care of adults within an established practice that has spanned over 40 years with a large volume base.

One who will apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise when diagnosing and treating and do so in coordination with compassionate care across the spectrum of health.

Practice Information:

  • Develop personal relationships with patients and collaborate with their PCP.
  • Focus on wellness and education to the patient.
  • Work collegially with peers.
  • Create a care plan, including ordering tests, diagnostics, and therapies, and monitor results over time.
  • On-site work schedule 32 hours patient care/ 4 hours charting/ 4.5 day work week.

Bluffton Regional Medical Center (BRMC):

We are located in the center of the community of Bluffton, Indiana. BRMC has private rooms offering:
  • General medicine, OB, and surgical services, including General, GI, Podiatry, Ophthalmology, GYN, and simple Orthopedics.
  • We can offer several Specialist services, located 25 miles south of Lutheran Hospital in the Lutheran Health Network.
  • These include Rheumatology, Cardiology, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Neurology, Ortho, and Medical Oncology.
  • Our ancillary services include laboratory, respiratory, sleep lab, speech/PT/OT therapies, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, wound center, pulmonary function, and radiology with MRI, CT, Dexa Scan, Ultrasound, Echo, ultrasound, and nuclear medicine.
Bluffton Medical Group (BMG):
BMG has providers in the same building as the hospital and two sites in Bluffton (OB/GYN and Cherry Street Family Practice, along with outlying offices in Ossian, Warren, and Markle). BMG was originally the Caylor-Nickel Physician practice based on the Mayo Clinic model. BRMC and BMG (formerly Caylor-Nickel Medical Center) has served the community of Bluffton for nearly 125 years. BMG has 25 employed physicians/providers.

Note: Indiana implemented malpractice reform almost 30 years ago and is considered one of the friendliest in the nation for physicians.
