Heart Failure Cardiologist Opening in Cooperstown, NY Located at the base of the Adirondack Mountains; 75 miles from Albany, NY Position Information:

• Full-time, permanent position
• Hospital employed
• Seeking a Heart Failure Cardiologist to join the staff. The faculty practice consists of 15 cardiologists, 2 surgeons, and 18 advanced practice clinicians.
• Provide clinical and consultative care within the hospital and office setting. From prevention and detection to surgery and rehabilitation, Bassett provides a full range of cardiovascular testing services including MRI, CT, echo and nuclear cardiology. To include:
• Academic appointment with Columbia University, and clinical affiliation with their advanced heart failure service
• Outpatient, Inpatient and Regional Patient Care
• Teaching of cardiology fellows, internal medicine residents, and medical students
• Salary Range: $500,000 - $545,000. This compensation range represents good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
• Health system offers physicians an incentive plan with no earnings cap. Individual performance and productivity can significantly enhance compensation with potential upside realized within the first year of employment.
• Sign-on bonus up to $100,000

• Cardiac Cath Lab with STEMI and structural program
• Electrophysiology program with a full range of device implantation and ablation programs
• Cardiac surgery service Qualifications:
• MD, DO or MBBS
• Board Eligible/Board Certified in ABIM Cardiovascular Disease
• New York State Licensure
• BLS & ACLS Certifications Required
