Cardiologist - Non-Invasive - Physician - (Cardiology - Non-Invasive) Locum Tenens
Board-certified Non-Invasive Cardiologist needed for coverage in central eastern Illinois facility. The schedule Monday-Friday 8:30a-4:30p with call rotation. Procedures will include 2D and 3D echocardiography, stress test, transesophageal echocardiogram, tilt table testing, and Holter monitoring. The average patient census is 15-20 per day. A non-invasive cardiologist (locum tenens) works in a non-surgical context to prevent and diagnose potential heart problems. These physicians typically run office-based practices and perform principally diagnostic tests to identify heart problems early on. When possible, non-invasive cardiologists will prescribe medication to treat cardiovascular issues, but will refer the patient to another specialist when necessary.
