Cardiologist - Davie / Plantation,FL

*Provide consultative non-invasive general cardiology services within an ambulatory practice setting.
*Perform and interpret non-invasive diagnostic studies, including echocardiograms, nuclear cardiology, TEE, stress testing, and cardioversions.
*Conduct comprehensive patient assessments addressing prevention, detection, treatment, and follow-up care.
*Develop and coordinate individualized care plans for patients with acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions.
*Exercise sound clinical judgment and generate timely referrals when a patient’s condition exceeds the scope of the practice.
*Prescribe medications for identified conditions, documenting dosage, form, frequency, side-effect counseling, and allergy review in the EHR prior to initiating any pharmaceutical regimen.
*Order and link medically necessary laboratory, radiological, point-of-care, and other diagnostic studies to documented diagnoses and enter all orders in the EHR for accurate and timely execution by ancillary staff.
*Document all clinical activities thoroughly and lock each note within 72 hours of the date of service.
*Review and address laboratory results, radiology reports, diagnostic findings, telephone messages, and prescription refill requests daily, documenting all actions and care updates in the EHR.
*Communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary care team, including nurse practitioners, physician assistants, medical assistants, and administrative staff.
*Arrive punctually to ensure patients are seen as scheduled and maintain a respectful, patient-centered environment.
*Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives and organizational meetings as requested by administration.
*Support operational productivity goals and compliance with health requirements established by public and private third-party payers.
