Cardiology | Base Salary: $450,000-$500,000/Year + RVU Bonus | Southern Maryland | Permanent Role

Position / Schedule

• Full-time, Monday–Friday daytime schedule
• Outpatient cardiology clinic with some hospital rounding responsibilities
• Average 20–25 patients per day, along with office duties such as reading imaging studies
• Weekday call: Telephonic
• Weekend call: Approximately 1:4 or 1:5, based on a pro-rata share
• Weekend coverage includes hospital rounds alongside an APP.
• Flexible start date
• Typically requires approximately 90 days from hire to start to allow for payer credentialing
• Part-time candidates will also be considered

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient cardiology care.
• Evaluate and manage cardiology patients in the clinic.
• Perform inpatient consultations and hospital rounding.
• Read office and hospital imaging studies.
• Collaborate with APPs and other clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation using Practice Fusion EMR.
• Participate in weekday telephonic and weekend hospital call coverage.

• Base Salary: $450,000–$500,000/year

Requirements

• BC/BE in Cardiology or Interventional Cardiology
• Maryland license required to start
• Pending Maryland license application / “applied for” status is acceptable for consideration, but the candidate cannot begin employment until the license is approved
• New graduates are welcome to apply
