Locums – Bellingham, Washington, Cardiology Job (IMLC Accepted)

• Coverage Need: Gaps in coverage

• Board Certified in Cardiology – Required
• Board Certified in Electrophysiology – Required for EP position
• Active Washington Medical License or IMLC – Accepted
• Facility willing to consider licensing candidates depending on start date
• ACLS Certification – Required
• BLS Certification – Required
• NRP Certification – Required
• Minimum Experience: 1 year
• Epic Experience – Required

• Setting:
  • General Cardiology – Hospital only
  • Electrophysiology – Hospital and Clinic
• Hospital Size: 247 beds
• Patient Population: Adult
• Average Patient Volume: 8–10 patients per day
• EMR: Epic
• Support: APC support available Monday–Saturday

General Cardiology

• Inpatient rounding and admissions
• Cardioversions
• Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)
  • Approximately 2–4 TEEs per shift

Electrophysiology

• Inpatient and outpatient EP care
• Full spectrum of EP procedures, including:
  • Pacemaker implantation
  • Ablations
  • Additional electrophysiology procedures

• Documentation of cardiovascular disease practice representative of requested privileges within the past 24 months
• EP Applicants: Documentation of at least 100 electrophysiology cases performed within the previous 24 months
