Job description
Join a Cardiology team just 46 miles from Pittsburgh. This position is a mix of both inpatient and outpatient. There is one full-time Cardiology NPs and 2 part-time NPs. There is an Interventional Cardiologist onsite 7 days/month. APPs work M-F.
Once ramped up fully, the average patients per day is around 22-24. Office hours are M-F and you can choose your schedule. You can come in early or later, your choice.
Services include:
Cardiac testing
EKGs - ranges from 70-130 one day per week (schedule for EKGs)
Echo Machine reads - around 30 per day
Heart monitoring - 0-10 per day
Stress tests - rounding cardiologist is in room for stress tests - about 2-8 each morning
Call- 1 week per month - Tuesday-Tuesday***when on call no outpatient is required - Rounding during call is from 8-4:30 and then you can return home
Very rare to get called to come onsite
24 hour Hospitalists onsite
24 hour interventional onsite
24 hour intensivists onsite
The non-invasive cardiologist just receives updates on their own patients that are going into the cath lab
Outpatient Clinic is less than 1 mile from hospital
TEEs and cardioversiona are done at the hospital
Compensation - Base is 50th-75th MGMA %
