We are seeking a Non-Invasive Cardiologist for a locum tenens position in Chambersburg, PA. This is an ongoing locum tenens opportunity offering 1–2 weeks of coverage per month at an acute care hospital. Please see below for more information.
265-bed acute care hospital
EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Manage daily inpatient census averaging 25–35 patients (ages 18+)
Perform and interpret stress testing, TEEs, and cardioversions
Read and interpret echocardiograms, Holter monitors, nuclear stress tests, and EKGs
Provide inpatient cardiology consults
Collaborate with on-site MD and APP coverage; interventional and EP services available on-site
Qualifications
Active Pennsylvania license or IMLC Letter of Qualification (LOQ) required
DEA required
ACLS/BLS required
CTA reading preferred
Working Hours
Monday – Sunday
Occasional weeknight call
1–2 weeks per month, ongoing
Minimum 6-month commitment
