Job description
Healthcare United is seeking a Non Invasive Cardiologist for a full time academic opportunity in Northern Illinois. This is an excellent opportunity for a Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiologist seeking a balanced mix of inpatient and outpatient cardiology within an established and growing cardiovascular program.
The incoming physician will join a collaborative team environment with access to advanced cardiac diagnostics, modern technology, and strong support from specialists and advanced practice providers. The physician will provide comprehensive non invasive cardiology care and evaluate a broad range of cardiovascular conditions in a structured setting with a dependable referral network and strong institutional support. Responsibilities include interpreting echocardiography, stress testing, and TEE, while working closely with primary care providers, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver high quality cardiovascular care.

Job Responsibilities
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of cardiovascular conditions
• Interpret and perform echocardiography, stress testing, and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE)
• Collaborate with primary care physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary care teams
• Participate in an established and growing academic cardiovascular program
• Support high quality patient care in a structured and efficient clinical environment
• Contribute to teaching and academic initiatives as available
• Work within a team based model supported by advanced practice providers and cardiovascular specialists
Qualifications
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Eligible for Illinois medical licensure
• Active DEA or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical training in Non Invasive Cardiology
• Experience with echocardiography, stress testing, TEE, and cardiac imaging
• Ability to work effectively in a team based environment
• Strong communication, diagnostic, and patient management skills
