Join a well-rounded non-invasive cardiology locums opportunity offering a balanced mix of hospital consults and clinic coverage. This position provides a predictable rotating schedule with both inpatient and outpatient responsibilities in a supportive setting.

Start Date: May 10, 2026 Assignment Length: 13 weeks

• Balanced inpatient and outpatient cardiology practice
• Rotating schedule with dedicated call and clinic weeks
• Strong procedural mix including diagnostic testing
• Academic and hospital-based environment
• Consistent monthly coverage need with multiple providers

• Call Week: Monday 7:00 AM – Monday 7:00 AM (hospital consults and call)
• Clinic Week: Monday–Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Coverage Model:
  • 2 weeks of call per month
  • 2 weeks of clinic per month
• Facility seeking 2 providers to rotate schedule

Setting: Hospital and Clinic

Patient Population: Adult

Daily Volume:

• Hospital: ~20 patients per day
• Clinic: ~18 patients per day

Responsibilities Include:

• Managing inpatient cardiology consults
• Providing hospital call coverage
• Conducting outpatient clinic visits
• Interpreting diagnostic cardiac studies
• Coordinating care across inpatient and outpatient settings

Procedures:

• TEEs (Transesophageal echocardiograms)
• Echocardiogram interpretations
• Nuclear cardiology testing

Support Staff:

• Medical assistants in clinic

Technology:

• EMR: Epic

Facility Details:

• 74-bed hospital

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology – required
• Active Pennsylvania license – required
• IMLC accepted
• DEA required
