Queens, New York – Non-Invasive Cardiologist Job (Near JFK | South Shore)

- Full-time position
- Outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Patient volume: 12–14 patients per day
- Weekend call: 1:4
- Rotating overnight phone call: 1 week per month
- Case complexity: moderate to high
Clinical Responsibilities:
- Provide cardiovascular consultation to ED, inpatient services, and referring physicians
- Manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions including CAD, heart failure, valvular disease, arrhythmias, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia
- Focus on preventative cardiology and risk stratification
- Interpret non-invasive studies:
- ECGs
- Echocardiograms (TTE/TEE)
- Stress testing (nuclear and echo)
- Holter and event monitoring
- Provide inpatient consults and maintain outpatient clinic schedule
- Collaborate with interventional cardiology, EP, cardiac surgery, and rehab teams
Additional Duties:
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives (ACC/AHA guidelines)
- Teach and mentor residents, students, and APPs
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
- Engage in CME and ongoing professional development
Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Completion of Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship
- Board certified or board eligible in Cardiovascular Disease (ABIM)
- New York medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Active DEA
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $450,000–$485,000 + productivity incentives
