Location: Arlington, Virginia

Practice: Clinica De Corazon DAmelia (Amelia Heart & Vascular Center)


About Clinica De Corazon DAmelia

Clinica De Corazon DAmelia is a specialized, Spanish-focused cardiovascular practice within the Amelia Heart & Vascular Center in Shirlington, Virginia. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, culturally competent, and compassionate cardiac care to the Hispanic community. We focus on preventive cardiology, diagnostic excellence, and long-term heart health to ensure our patients achieve their best outcomes in a supportive environment where they feel understood and heard.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients, including preventive cardiology, diagnostic evaluations, and management of chronic heart conditions.
  • Conduct consultations and follow-up appointments in both English and Spanish to meet the needs of our diverse patient population.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with practice and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care and seamless coordination within the Amelia Heart & Vascular Center.
  • Work a full-time schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm (36 hours patient-facing, 4 hours administrative). Other scheduling options may be considered.
  • No evenings and no weekends.

Qualifications

  • Board certified in Cardiology..
  • Fluency in Spanish is required.
  • Active Virginia medical license or ability to obtain one.
  • Ideally at least 1 year of post-graduate experience, though stellar 2026/2027 fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply!
  • Strong clinical skills with a patient-centered, culturally sensitive approach.
