Job description
We are expanding our cardiology team across Albany and Troy, NY. We are seeking a passionate Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a physician-governed, multi-specialty group. This role offers high-quality inpatient and outpatient care within one of the largest Catholic healthcare systems in the U.S.
-Schedule: Flexible options including a traditional 40-hour hospital/clinic role, a hospital-only 7-on/7-off shift (7 AM – 7 PM), or weekend-only rounding (Fri–Sun, 12 PM – 12 AM).
-Location: Albany and Troy, NY.
-Team: Collegial, multidisciplinary team of over 350 providers across 40 locations, including dedicated cardiology support at St. Peter’s Hospital and Samaritan Hospital.
-Charting: Epic EMR.

Financial: Guaranteed $600,000 annual base salary; $75,000 starting bonus, $25,000 retention bonus, and $25,000 relocation assistance.

Job Responsibilities
-Manage a patient load averaging 20–25 patients per clinic day and lead a rounding team for 50–60 patients daily.
-Participate in walk-in clinics 2–3 times monthly (for traditional roles).
-Collaborate closely with Albany Associates in Cardiology and multispecialty teams in Troy.
-Maintain high standards of care as part of a Top 100 Cardiovascular Hospital network.
Qualifications
-Specialty Certification: Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology (must obtain BC within 2 years of hire).
-Fellowship: Must have completed a Fellowship in Cardiology prior to start [REQUIRED].
-Licensure: Active New York Medical License (or willing to obtain) and active DEA [REQUIRED].
-Credentialing: Most recent NPDB Self-Query Report (within 30 days active) [REQUIRED at presentation].
-Graduating Fellows: Open to 2026 graduates.
Working Hours
-Weekend Requirements: Hospital rounding every 5th weekend (Sat/Sun).
-On-Call: 1:5 weekend call rotation; overnight telephone support with rare in-person requirements.
