🗓️ Schedule

🕒 Days (50/50 Hospital + Clinic)
📞 On-call: 1 weeknight per week (phone-based; rarely in-person)
📅 Weekend Call: 1:5 rotation

  • Supported by APPs on weekends

  • APPs round in the hospital during the day

  • Night coverage is phone-based and rarely requires in-person arrival

  • In-house night cardiologist available

Must-Have Qualifications

✔️ Board Certified in Internal Medicine
✔️ Board Eligible (within 5 years) or Board Certified in Cardiology
✔️ NY License (or willing to obtain)
✔️ Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (must be completed prior to start)
✔️ NPDB Self Query Report (within 30 days active) — required, no exemptions

💰 Compensation & Benefits

💵 Year 1 Base Salary Guarantee: $600,000
📈 Year 2: Option to join Pool Model (RVU & Quality Incentives)
🎁 Starting Bonus: $75,000
🎉 Retention Bonus: $25,000 (2nd anniversary)
🚚 Relocation: $25,000 (if outside Capital Region)
🎓 Fellowship Compensation: Up to $100,000/year (early sign-on stipend)
