π« Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Truly Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a high-volume, well-established cardiology team serving patients across Albany and Troy, NY. This role offers exceptional compensation, schedule flexibility, and strong institutional support, making it ideal for both experienced cardiologists and 2026 new graduates.

Hospital rounding only (no clinic)

Traditional Hospital + Clinic Role

Outpatient clinics + hospital rounding

Call rotation: 1:5 weekends

Hospital-Only Shift Model

7-on / 7-off (7 AM β 7 PM)

No clinic responsibilities

Team coverage during the day, solo coverage evenings

π Key Responsibilities
-
Provide high-quality inpatient and outpatient non-invasive cardiology care
-
Hospital rounding and outpatient clinic visits
-
Average clinic volume: 20β25 patients per 8-hour day
-
Hospital rounding team covers 50β60 patients daily
-
Participate in 1:5 weekend call rotation
-
In-hospital rounding: 8 AM β 4 PM (Sat/Sun)
-
Overnight call is phone-based with rare in-person needs

Collaborate with a large, multidisciplinary cardiology team

Document care using Epic EMR
-
Work across multiple locations (Albany & Troy)
β Required Qualifications
-
Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
(Boards must be obtained within 2 years of start if BE) -
Completed Cardiology Fellowship prior to start

New York medical license (or willingness to obtain)

Clean malpractice history
-
NPDB Self-Query Report (within last 30 days)

Willingness to work at multiple locations

BLS, ACLS, PALS, DEA

Candidates with lapsed board certification will NOT be accepted

No locums
