Locums – Quincy, Illinois – Non-Invasive Cardiologist Job (IMLC Welcome)
Clinical Role: • Locum job opening • Seeking a board-certified or truly board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist • IMLC candidates welcome • Outpatient clinic + inpatient call
Schedule & Setting: • One week a month to include a weekend as well - Feb 20 (8am) – Feb 27 (5pm) - Mar 16 (7am) – Mar 23 (7am) - April 13 (7am) – April 27 (7am) - May 18 (7am) – May 25 (7am) Monday–Friday, 8a–5p • Outpatient clinic volume: ~15–20 patients/day – New patients: 40-minute appointments – Established patients: 20-minute appointments • Inpatient call: 1–2 weekdays/month + limited weekends – Typically phone call only; rarely onsite overnight – Inpatient volume: ~15–20 patients/day with 3–4 new consults
Responsibilities: • Outpatient clinic + inpatient consults while on call • Perform non-invasive cardiac procedures and testing – Read EKGs, echos, TEEs, nuclear studies • Complete studies and procedures APPs cannot perform • APP support for patient flow, consults, admits, stress testing, and more • Echo services available 24/7
Clinic Notes: • Expect reading/procedural days when on call • 1-hour lunch daily • EMR: EPIC
