Seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology team. This full-time position offers flexible scheduling options, competitive compensation, and excellent benefits within a supportive, multidisciplinary medical environment. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, providing an opportunity to work with advanced technology and a highly collaborative team.
Job Responsibilities
• Participate in one of three work options: weekend rounding shifts, traditional hospital/clinic schedule, or hospital-only 7-on/7-off rotation.
• Manage 20–25 patients per 8-hour clinic day and participate in team-based hospital rounds for 50–60 patients daily.
• Participate in a 1:5 weekend call rotation, offering hospital rounding and telephone coverage.
• Utilize Epic EMR for documentation and clinical workflow.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.
Qualifications
• Fellowship training in Cardiology (required).
• Active or eligible New York Medical License.
• Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and DEA certifications.
• Clean malpractice history (required).
• Willing to work at multiple locations within the Capital Region.
• Open to 2026 new graduates; not accepting visa candidates.
Working Hours
Weekend Rounding: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts (12pm–12am).
Hospital/Clinic Role: 40-hour work week with 1:5 call rotation.
Hospital-Only: 7-on/7-off schedule (7am–7pm).
• Minimal overnight call due to 24/7 team support coverage.
Skills
• Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills for cardiac conditions.
• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Experience with Epic EMR or similar electronic medical record systems.
