$500K–$550K First-Year Salary | 100K Recruitment Bonus | Collegial Team-Based Practice

Position Overview:

A highly respected, multi-specialty cardiovascular group in the Capital District of New York is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its growing, patient-centered team. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a long-standing practice that has been providing exceptional cardiac care to the community for over 40 years.

Practice Highlights:

• Join a large, collegial team of 20+ cardiology specialists and APPs

• 50/50 split between inpatient and outpatient responsibilities

• Call schedule: 1 weeknight/week (phone only); weekend rotation 1:5 with APP support

• Inpatient coverage at two regional hospitals (within reasonable travel distance)

• Modern facilities offering a full spectrum of cardiac services including Echo, Vascular, Nuclear, EP, and Interventional/Structural programs

• Supportive administrative structure and physician-friendly environment

• In-house night cardiologist—minimal overnight disruptions

Candidate Requirements (REQUIRED):

• Board-Certified in Internal Medicine

• Truly Board Eligible or Board Certified in Cardiology

• Fellowship-trained in Cardiology (must be completed prior to start)

• Active New York medical license (or willing to obtain)

• Must reside outside a 30-mile radius of the hiring institution

• Open to H-1B visa candidates (no J-1 waivers)

💼 Compensation & Benefits:

• Base salary range: $500,000–$550,000 (Year 1)

• $100,000 recruitment package (negotiable at interview)
