Level III Trauma Center | Coastal Living | Growth-Driven Expansion

Position Overview:

A leading 127-bed Level III Trauma Center located on the beautiful southern coast of Oregon is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join its expanding cardiology team. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity to practice in a collaborative, low-stress, and engaging environment while serving a regional population of over 320,000.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide both inpatient and outpatient cardiology services

  • Perform and interpret EKG, echocardiography (including TEE and stress echo), nuclear cardiology, and Holter/event monitors

  • Evaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiac conditions

  • Rotate through outpatient clinic (Mโ€“F, 8amโ€“5pm) with shared weekend call (Echo reading only)

  • Participate in cardiac rehab treatment planning and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams

  • Travel periodically to provide outreach services at nearby critical access hospitals

  • Engage in clinic quality improvement, patient education, and continuing medical education

Practice Details:

  • Average 10โ€“15 patients per day with strong NP/PA support

  • Large built-in referral network from primary care and surrounding communities

  • High-caliber, collegial cardiology team with customized onboarding based on experience

  • State-of-the-art cardiac diagnostic services

  • Electronic medical record documentation and compliance with quality reporting standards

Qualifications (REQUIRED):

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology (Non-Invasive)

  • Fellowship-trained in Cardiology

  • Oregon medical license (or ability to obtain)

  • Must reside within the local area or be open to relocation

  • Must have ties to Oregon (e.g., family in-state or previous residence)

  • Nuclear and Echo certification โ€“ highly preferred
