- Other Details: The facility which is stroke-certified and trauma level 2 is looking for a provider to cover on-site clinical hours and beeper call if needed. This opportunity is for a Non-Invasive Cardiologist (not interventional), with a strong preference for candidates proficient in performing TEEs, reading echocardiograms, nuclear medicine studies, and stress tests. The role involves general cardiology duties with admissions limited to STEMI cases, supported by an interventional cardiologist on call. The practice includes 2 electrophysiologists, 10 APPs, 5 interventionalists, and 6 non-invasive cardiologists. Rounding and call coverage may be required at any of three sites. The position includes a day shift from 8 AM to 5 PM focused on inpatient care, and night shift call from 5 PM to 8 AM covering both inpatient and outpatient needs, with APPs handling the first call.

Job Responsibilities
* Participate in non-invasive cardiology call, including night coverage with APPs taking first call.
* Perform and interpret TEEs, echocardiograms, nuclear medicine studies, and stress tests.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including EPs, APPs, interventionalists, and non-invasive cardiologists.
* Manage admissions for STEMI cases with interventional cardiologist backup.
* Rotate coverage across three sites as needed: Ortenzio Heart Center, Holy Spirit Main, and Hampden.
Qualifications
* Fellowship training in non-invasive cardiology preferred.
* Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in the practicing state.
* Proficiency in TEE, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, and stress testing.
Working Hours
* Night shift: 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM, inpatient and outpatient call (APPs take first call).
Skills
* Ability to independently perform and interpret non-invasive cardiac tests.
* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
* Adaptability to work across multiple hospital settings.
