Live and Work in West Virginia

West Virginia offers something that is genuinely hard to find in academic medicine: an affordable cost of living, short commutes, scenic landscapes, and a strong sense of community. Outdoor recreation is accessible year-round, the neighborhoods are close-knit, and the patient population gives physicians a meaningful regional impact that larger markets rarely offer. As part of WVU, you also get the resources, collegiality, and academic energy of a major research university.

Practice in a flexible academic role, a collaborative cardiovascular program, and a state that makes it easy to build a life outside of work. Apply today.
