Job description
We are seeking a Cardiology – Internal Medicine Physician for a locum tenens position in Spokane, WA. This is a long-term, ongoing locum tenens opportunity providing scheduled inpatient PM coverage. Please see below for more information.
- Facility Type: Acute Care Hospital
- Trauma Level: Level II (Adult, Peds II, III, IV)
- EMR: Epic
Job Responsibilities
Two weeks of overnight coverage per month on a long-term, ongoing basis
7-day shift stretches beginning Thursday and ending Wednesday
Scheduled clinical hours including rounding and on-call coverage
Manage a patient census of 7–18 adult patients per shift
Work alongside a support staff of 17 PA/NPs
Utilize skills in inpatient cardiology, ICU, non-invasive echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology (Cardiolyte, thallium, etc.)
Qualifications
Active Washington State medical license or IMLC eligibility
BLS certification required
Working Hours
5 nights per week
Overtime applicable after 12 hours per day
