Job Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic cardiac catheterization and other appropriate invasive cardiology procedures.
Manage inpatient cardiology consultations and outpatient cardiovascular care.
Provide diagnostic cardiovascular services, imaging, and stress-testing as appropriate.
Participate in a shared 24-hour physician-only call rotation.
Manage general cardiology calls while an Interventional Cardiologist provides backup for STEMI or stent-placement needs.
Collaborate with Interventional Cardiology, EP, Structural Heart, CT Surgery, Vascular Surgery, and APP teams.
Provide comprehensive, patient-centered cardiovascular care.
Qualifications
Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiovascular Disease.
Completion of accredited Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship.
General Invasive Cardiology experience and appropriate invasive clinical capabilities.
Eligible for an unrestricted Texas medical license and hospital privileges.
Must meet applicable credentialing, malpractice, background, and immigration requirements.
H-1B candidates considered.
Working Hours
Regular clinic, inpatient, and procedural schedule to be determined.
Skills
Experience with diagnostic cardiac catheterization and invasive cardiology procedures.
Strong clinical skills in cardiovascular diagnosis, testing, and patient management.
Ability to work effectively in a high-volume cardiovascular environment.
Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Comfortable participating in 24-hour primary call with Interventional Cardiology backup for STEMI and stent-placement needs.
Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary cardiovascular and hospital teams.
