Location:
MyMichigan Medical Center Alpena

Opportunity Type:
Full-time | Clinic and Call Coverage
1:2 Call Rotation
Combination of new and established patient visits
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 8-hour shifts
Call required as part of 1:2 rotation
3 month contract
Compensation:
- Orientation Rate:
- $500 flat rate for orientations up to 4 hours
- $1,000 flat rate for orientations exceeding 4 hours
Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinic and inpatient rounding
- Imaging/testing interpretation
- Procedures based on training and experience
- Includes diagnostic caths, TEE, cardioversions, loop implant/explant
- Diagnostic caths are optional, not required
- No supervision responsibilities
- One APP on staff (currently on maternity leave starting Oct 2025)
Technology:
- EMR: EPIC
- Dictation: Dragon
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
- Current ACLS and BLS certifications
- Proctoring may be required based on procedures performed
- Minimum of 50 cases in the past 12 months
- Will consider candidates with IMLC or in the process of obtaining a license
Credentialing:
- Typically completed in 30 days
- Timeline may be expedited based on start date
