Job description
A well-established cardiology program in Western Nebraska is seeking a fellowship-trained, board-certified/board-eligible cardiologist in Cardiovascular Disease to join a collaborative, patient-centered team. The role offers the opportunity to work with a robust network of cardiologists, cardiothoracic surgeons, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists, providing advanced and innovative heart care.

Job Responsibilities
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary cardiology and cardiovascular surgery team.
• Share in a 1:3 night and weekend call rotation with limited weeknight call.
• Participate in the diagnosis and management of complex cardiac cases.
• Offer evidence-based treatments and participate in clinical trials.
• Engage in patient education, lifestyle guidance, and continuity of care.
• Support the regional heart program through a partnership network ensuring quality and safe heart care.
Qualifications
• Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease – Required.
• Fellowship in Cardiovascular Disease – Required (must be completed prior to start).
• Nebraska medical license (or in process) – Required.
• DEA license (must be obtained prior to start) – Required.
• Clean malpractice record – Preferred.
• Not accepting Locums or Visa candidates.
• Open to fellows graduating in 2024.
Working Hours
• Weekend work required.
• Call schedule: 1:3 nights and weekends (limited weeknight call).
