Join Our Team as a Non-Invasive Cardiologist in Coos Bay, OR!

We are a 127-bed Level III Trauma facility committed to providing high-quality healthcare to the Southern Coast of Oregon. As part of our growing Cardiology service line, we invite an additional Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our collaborative team. Our hospital serves a catchment area of over 320,000 people, and we're excited about our commitment to the community.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Clinic rotation Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM with shared call responsibilities that include reading on weekends.
  • Provide comprehensive cardiology services in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Conduct evaluations and management services, including interpretation of EKGs, Echocardiography, and Cardiac Nuclear Imaging.
  • Collaborate with other medical specialties in establishing standards of care.
  • Perform patient examinations and obtain relevant medical histories.
  • Educate patients and families about medications, treatments, and health prevention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documents.
  • Participate in physician meetings and assist in policy formation for the cardiology clinic.
  • Stay current with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements and licensing.

Qualifications:

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Non-Invasive Cardiology.
  • Fellowship trained in Cardiology.
  • Experience with Nuclear and Echo preferred.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Knowledge of patient assessment and risk calculation.

License and Certification Requirements:

  • Active OR License or willingness to obtain.
  • Current DEA certification (must be obtained before starting).
  • Clean malpractice history and background check.
  • Recent NPDB self-query report (within 30 days).
