Invasive Cardiology Locums Job in Connecticut | Beginning ASAP & Ongoing | Assignment #101719

Coverage Needed: One to two weeks coverage per month (Monday-Sunday days on site with night telephonic call + come in as needed) for 3-6 months.

Details/Requirements:
--Cardiac Cath interventions and emergency calls - Cath lab (in-person) and inpatient coverage and night call (telephonic)
--Schedule: 1-2 weeks coverage per month (Mon-Sun days on site with night telephonic call and come in as needed)
--Call Ratio: 1:4
--Average number of inpatient admissions per physician per day: approximately 6-12 per day total/with APP support
--Trauma Level/Designation: Level One
--Total Number of Beds: 600 beds in hospital
--Number of ICU Beds: 64 total - 32 medical/32 cardiac
--Number of Cardiologists Physician in Group: approximately 30
--Other Cardiologists Present During Locums Coverage: Yes
--Required to Supervise Other Health Care Providers: No supervision but must work well with and delegate work appropriately with APP's and Fellows.
--Patient Age Demographic: Adult and Geriatric
--Documentation System/EMR: Epic
--Impella experience Preferred - not required.
--Non-Invasive Procedures: Echocardiography, Electrical Cardioversions, Electrocardiograms (EKGs),Treadmill Stress Tests, Chemical Stress Tests
--Invasive Procedures: Angioplasty and Stenting, Embolic Protection, Balloon Angioplasty, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI),Temp pacemakers/balloon pump
--Board Certified
--ACLS
--Connecticut license
--Prefer CT licensed and local to CT or new England providers but will consider on case by case basis
