Position Details
The Norton Thoracic Institute (NTI) a division of Dignity Health St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center, is recruiting a Non-Invasive Academic Cardiologist. NTI is a leading organization in Phoenix, providing advanced care for patients with thoracic and cardiovascular disease. NTI has earned a reputation for excellence and innovation in caring for patients with complex and challenging problems. The Non-Invasive Cardiologist will contribute to the continued growth and development of our expanding Cardiology program. The Academic Cardiologist time split will be - 75% for Clinical activities; 25% will be dedicated to teaching and clinical research.
Requirements:
- MD or DO Degree
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- 3+ years’ post-fellowship experience at an Academic Institution
- Recent involvement in Research and Clinical Trials
- ECHO Certification required
- CTA and Nuclear experience preferred
- Ability to achieve full and unrestricted hospital privileges at Dignity Health Arizona hospitals
- Must obtain Arizona State medical licensure before starting in the position

Center for Advanced Heart Failure
Our advanced heart failure team specializes in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment of cardiomyopathy with medication, necessary devices, and surgery. We offer comprehensive diagnosis and treatment services for end stage systolic heart failure/cardiomyopathy. Our team—which includes specialists in Cardiothoracic Surgery, Cardiovascular Medicine, Palliative Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, Pharmacy, Nephrology, Infectious Disease, Social Work—will work with you to determine the best course of treatment for your condition. Our state-of-the-art facilities allow us to offer both medical and surgical treatment options for our patients.

Compensation
