Job Description

  • Dates:
    • ASAP– Ongoing
  • Schedule:
    • Mon-Fri 7a-5p
    • every third week and every third weekend
  • Call Details:
    • Call covered 7 days per week starting at 5pm.
    • The weekend call will start at 5pm as night call. The locums provider would have an estimated 4 hours of rounding and clinical activity Saturday and Sunday. Call will end Monday morning.
    • Not currently a STEMI site so night call limited to returning calls from the IP and ED but not onsite.
  • Clinical Details:
    • Established practice with 2 physicians and 3 advanced practice providers
    • Inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities
    • No ICU attending responsibilities, consult service only
    • Locums providers will respond to codes
  • Procedures:
    • Echo
    • Nuclear
    • EKG
    • Diagnostic and interventional cardiac caths
    • Diagnostic and interventional peripheral procedures – (preferred, not required)
    • ABI/TBI reading
  • EMR:
    • Epic
  • Required:
    • Board Certificated
    • Active NC License and addressed DEA
    • ACLS
    • 2 years of post-fellowship experience.
