**Interventional Cardiology opportunity in Conway, SC** - Located 10 miles from Myrtle Beach - 325,000 person population **Position Details:** - Full-time, permanent position - Post-fellowship experience required - H1B sponsorship available - Each Physician will have dedicated RN - Certificate of Need (CON) was approved for PCI / Interventional, state approved: Renovation is under way with build out 2nd Cath Lab - Medical center was transferring out per year, now staying at medical center: 120 STEMIs; 50 CABGs - Leverage the DHN Duke health Network can get STEMI call at DHN facility in Laurinburg, NC - 4-6+ weeks out on new patients - Globus Celsius robot - Hospitalist group handles all admissions - Stress test and echoes done in the Cardiac Care clinic - Cath Lab 500 cases (s/w Barb Gibson) - 24+/- patients per day - 4.5 day clinic/ .5 half day admin - APPs see established and hospital follow up **Cardiac Clinic with an affiliation with Duke** What Duke brings to the table is: - Internal Clinic & Infusion center - Support in logistics and set up of new pharmacy - Both positions are employed - Duke has fast track for the patients and do allow them to be seen/treated at MUSC - Cancer/cardio clinical trials to begin at medical center 15/18 months once accredited **Compensation:** - Compensation is and will be working off MGMA median - Base 1-3 years then RVU - RELO: travel location expense - CME: 5 days & 3K - Student debt repayment/PO (if applicable based on amount and case by case) - Retirement: 401k, and/or 403b, 401k matching, Voluntary 403b, 457b, 457b matching - Cancer, Accident, Critical Care & Recovery (AFLAC) - Flexible Spending Account - Group, Life Insurance (The Standard) - Short & Long Term Disability - PAI, Delta & Physician Eye care plans **Medical Center Overview:** - Independent Nonprofit hospital 501c3; established 1928 - Leadership has long tenure across the administration - Board Chair has 20 years in leadership, well respected in the community - CEO has seat on the board with a vote - Umbrella employed Physicians Group, PNS Physicians Network Services - 210 beds; typically operating at 155 - NEW Hospital announced TBB in 2024; 55 bed facility in the Carolina Forest market west of Myrtle Beach, SC - New PCP offices (2) coming in 2021 - New Orthopaedics Team - New Infectious Disease clinic - Bringing on Rheumatology - Level 3 Trauma - H1-B sponsorship - 340(b) drug program will align with the new service line - 85 providers w/ multiple specialists - 450+ days cash on hand for operating pre-covid19; 420+ now - Duke Affiliation: Cardiology & Oncology - Strong primary care base for referrals and growing - NEW Pharmacy on campus - 28 outpatient office network - EMR = CERNER w/ Dragon Dictation - Family Medicine Residency Program began July 2020 w/ Campbell University - 9 residents - 3rd and 4th year Medical Student relationship with Campbell University - Granted 550k for improving and upgrading telehealth & telemedicine **Horry County market:** - Public Schools: Top Tier in the state [Register to View] - Access to water sports and outdoor experiences - Private Schools - 2nd fastest growing MSA over 3 year trends in US; 39 net new residents a day in Horry County - 375,000 total population - 18.5 MM visitors a year - Top 10 fastest growing county in US - MYR International has 14+ carriers = 60 flights per day - Check out chamber of commerce websites: Myrtle Beach, Conway, North Myrtle Beach and Surfside - Search The Market Common, Murrells Inlet, Downtown Alive (Conway)
