Hospital is seeking a BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join a group of 5. Call is 1 in 3 and interventional only. Focus mainly on coronary cases; peripheral skills welcome but not mandatory. 100-125 coronary interventions annually, could do 50 peripheral interventions annually. Only certified STEMI Center in the county. • Hospital does ASD and PFO closure with ICE-guidance. No valvular or left atrial appendage interventions now, but may start soon as surgical volumes continue to grow. • Medical directorship possible.
Location: 5 hours from San Francisco Excellent public, charter and private “ Blue Ribbon” schools with small classroom sizes Art rich area with an abundance of writers and poets, theater groups, museums, galleries, dance companies, concerts and other cultural events. Locals and visitors alike stroll from place to place enjoying the arts, live music, dining and libations. Rural-Northern California Over 128K people in the area Close to the Redwood National Park Minutes from the beach, forests, rivers, lakes and mountains Hike and camp beneath the mighty redwoods, stroll along a beautiful beach, kayak or sail the sea, fish the rivers, mountain bike, rock climb, surf the waves, etc. The 2.3 million acres of land in the county is known for its rural beauty, roughly 80% of which is designated recreation and forest land.
