Northeastern Nevada Regional Hospital (NNRH) in Elko, NV is seeking a full-time BC/BE Interventional Cardiologist to join an established practice. Full-time options include M-F or 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off. This hospital-employed opportunity offers both inpatient and outpatient care in a state-of-the-art 75 all-private bed hospital. The hospital also serves as a teaching institution for the nursing program at Great Basin College and the residency/medical student program at the University of Nevada. With a service area of 45,000, this single-specialty group consists of 2 providers (the incoming physician will be replacing 1 of the 2 current providers) and is the only acute care hospital within a 200-mile radius.

Elko is located in the center of northern Nevada’s Great Basin on Interstate 80 and is the largest city between Salt Lake City and Reno. The region is an outdoor enthusiasts’ paradise, with abundant opportunities for winter sports, fishing, swimming and boating. Hikers can explore more than 100 miles of trails amid the towering Ruby Mountains at Lamoille Canyon and Humboldt National Forest offers two million acres of wilderness areas, spectacular canyons and old mining camps.
